You can learn about me if I can learn about you…
You may have guessed it, but yes I am Harper Lock. I love people, music, and disc golf (in that order).
My family moved around a lot when I was a kid so I actually attended 5 schools by second grade. As a result, I am used to being “the new kid” and have developed an insatiable need for meeting and connecting with people because you never know what will come next.
When I’m not advertising, you can find me spectating the Disc Golf World Championship, seeing a concert, or laughing with whoever is with me. But no matter what it is, I’m doing it with others.
Why I love Brand/Account Management
Brand/Account Management is my absolute passion because my entire job revolves around people with differing perspectives, skillsets, schedules, and most importantly… experiences. I cannot be successful in what I do without the amazing people that choose to work with me, so I’ve taken the easy way out and they have kindly provided their opinions on who I am below.
Don’t forget to look at their linked websites and if you’re short on time, I’ll provide a few snippets in case you can’t make it through all of them.
“His personality and skillset anchors every team and people gravitate towards him. Harper is the man.”
“His sense of humor could get a group project through a government shutdown.”
“Harper is a celestial ray of sunshine piercing through the thunderous cumulonimbus clouds of an impending group project deadline.”
The People in the Room
“We’ve all had those projects where something goes catastrophically wrong last minute and absolutely ruins the morale. It can seem almost impossible to recover from sometimes. That’s assuming you don’t have Harper on your team. This man has the ability to bring up team morale and bring the best out of people no matter the circumstances like no other. I’ve seen it first hand and it’s saved me from some potentially doomed projects. Hire this man NOW!”
“Harper brings a unique sense of reassurance to our team. He’s the type of guy that everyone recognizes they can depend on. You know you’re hitting every part of the brief when Harper is involved. His personality and skillset anchors every team and people gravitate towards him. Harper is the man.”
“Only when working with Harper can you feel comfortable tossing out the strangest ideas (as I say referring to how our Brita group got to kidnapping somehow).”
“Harper has an intuition for quantifying the unquantifiable; for translating business problems into creative fodder, Harper is the best guy for the job.”
“Harper is a celestial ray of sunshine piercing through the thunderous cumulonimbus clouds of an impending group project deadline.”
"With Harper, you get absolute commitment—like the time he was eight hours away in Sweden, six time zones ahead, and still showed up when we needed him."
“Harper enhances the project experience by creating a clearly defined sandbox that creatives can experiment and ideate within, all while remaining faithful to the overarching strategy. Harper is always quick with a joke, and his lighthearted attitude keeps morale high when deadlines are fast approaching.”
“Harper doesn’t pretend to know everything—he just quietly out-researches the room. While you’re spiraling, he’s already made the spreadsheet, the plan, and the backup plan. He doesn’t just keep the train on the tracks—he builds the whole damn railway, but makes you feel like you laid the tracks. Dude’s a wizard with research. Best part? His sense of humor could get a group project through a government shutdown. You don’t just work with Harper—you weirdly end up rooting for him. He never makes you feel dumb, just seen! (Did I mention the guy has an incredible sense of humor?)”
“Imagine if you got on a plane, and the captain had the reflexes of a 26 year old but 1 billion hours of flying experience. You’d be radically confident. That’s exactly how it feels starting a project with Harper.”
“Harper is the kind of guy you want on your team because you’ll never feel like you’re in it alone. He’s extremely communicative and welcomes feedback as a genuine opportunity to be better, rather than as a critique or a short coming. Harper knows when to lean back and lean in, making sure his team feels supported but never restrained.”
“One thing you can only get from Harper is the feeling that you’re the only person in the room when he’s listening to you.”
